There is absolutely no need to pay retail prices on grocery and other household products. Coupons for most items can be found quite easily and can dramatically reduce costs and provide savings.

The process to find coupons is not as daunting, as it may first appear and the immense savings, that couponing provides, can certainly serve as incentive, to obtain them and save money.

There are several ways to find coupons and some of the better and easier methods in locating coupons are being provided below.

Local newspapers, especially the retail sections of weekend editions, provide one of the best ways to find current coupon offers and discounts. Keep an eye on their expiry dates, to ensure they are valid and are used within the stipulated time frame.

Most stores have coupon racks, coupon machines and an area dedicated to serve as coupon exchange centres, that allow for shoppers to place coupons they do not need and take the ones they need while they shop at the store.

Coupons can also be obtained by doing a search online from the comfort of ones home or office and a computer linked to the internet. A search on any of the major search engines, will provide several sites, that can be looked up and the coupons printed for later use. Many online shopping sites also have a coupon column or have their own coupons displayed for use by visitors to their site.

There are also products that come with coupons on their packages which can be used for future purchases of the same product at a discounted price or as a bonus for a different product that may be offered for free or at a reduced price as a promotion.

Flyers put out by grocery stores and delivered by mail or as part of a newspaper circulation is a good way to gather and save them for use when needed. In the event there are limited quantities of coupons for products needed, family or friends may be approached to hold on to the flyers for personal use, if they have no interest in using the coupons themselves.

Free groceries coupons help absorb some of the financial pressure, especially for families on a tight budget and provide a means to obtain value for money spent on much needed grocery items.

Are these coupon printer websites scams?

Lately with the rising prices or food and gas alike I have started to look at these coupon printing websites like couponsuzy.com and any others there are. What makes me think that they are a scam is that they tell you that you have to download their coupon printer and that kinda scares me. So if anyone with experience in these websites please comment or share any good sites that have free coupons. P.S. I’ve started to clip coupons out of the sunday paper too. Thanks! =)

admin answers:

No they are not a scam. Actually, those coupons from couponsuzy are from Coupons.com. The three main couponing sources are coupons.com, smartsource (which you will see in your sunday paper), and redplum (which you will see in your sunday paper). As another person commented, many websites now allow coupons.com to handle their coupons so they do not have to deal with it on their website.

Coupons.com allows website owners to also post the coupons on their website as well so that their website and blog readers will have easy access from their website. It is the same as Coupons.com, just located on a different website. With that being said, yes their are scams out there so be careful. After you have been couponing for a while though you will notice a scam a lot more easily, but it can be a bit scary when you are just starting out and not knowing which websites to trust.

Most couponers are genuinely helpful and wonderful people though. They don’t mind sharing information even in the store. Also, on a side note, you will also want to check out specific manufacturer and company websites for coupons as well. Signup for their newsletters and you will receive coupons in your email (just make sure you have a separate email setup just for coupons). Soon you will have tons of coupons and be a couponing pro.
