Ask The Experts About Price Discount Coupon

Charles asks…

Would you use a coupon or discount card if you ate out with friends?

I went out to dinner with friends and when the bill came I pulled out a coupon so we could save money. The people at the table acted all embarrasssed and wondered why I would make them look so small. I have not heard from any one from that group since.

I suspect they are embarrassed to be seen with someone who can not afford to pay full price. Was I rude to pull out a coupon without telling them first?

Oh my goodness i don’t believe what i’m hearing.
I went out to dinner with my pal, and she said “by gosh. I wish i had a coupon…”
In the credit crunch now, you should be saving what you can.
It shows that the friends you went out to dinner with are not your friends at all.
Ring them? You contact them? You might have got the wrong end of the stick.
But, personally i think it is time to let people like that go….
Especially now when the world is in finial crisis
Friends shouldn’t be waisting your money, when you have a coupon?
I personally think coupons are a blessing from god! Along with freebies of course…
And if my friend whipped out a coupon when we were sharing the bill i would have irrupted into applause! (not literally, but you know what i mean.)
Buuuuut
if you said
” can we go to this restrant on this day, because we can get discount!!” That is kindaaa rude.
Or..
If you got a free meal. I tend to use that if i ever eat alone.
I hope this answers your question!
